LA GOURMET “COUNT & WIN” CONTEST TERMS & CONDITIONS

ORGANISER

The Count & Win Contest (“Contest”) is organised by Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd (90816-M), with its principal place of business located at No. 12, Jalan TP2, Taman Perindustrian SIME UEP, 47600 Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia (“Organiser”).

CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest will run from 15 June 2026 until 30 November 2026, both dates inclusive (“Contest Period”).

The Organiser reserves the right to amend, extend, shorten, suspend, or terminate the Contest Period at its sole discretion without prior notice.

ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to all Malaysian citizens and foreigners residing in Malaysia aged 18 years and above with a valid identification document and residential address in Malaysia.

The Organiser reserves the right to request proof of identity and eligibility from any participant at any time.

The following persons are NOT eligible to participate:

1. a) Employees of Katrin BJ Sdn Bhd, its subsidiaries, related companies, and immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings and their spouses);
2. b) Employees of advertising agencies, event management companies, distributors, dealers, retailers, and service providers associated with this Contest, and their immediate family members.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To qualify for the Contest, participants must:

1. Purchase a minimum of RM99 worth of La gourmet INOX & Pureglas in a single receipt from participating outlets during the Contest Period.
2. Locate the designated Contest display area at designated period and determine the total number of La gourmet INOX & Pureglas Containers displayed (“Contest Display”) inside the Toshiba Fridge.
3. Scan the official Contest QR Code to submit your entry online or fill in the contest form & submit at the designated event area.
4. Complete and submit the Contest Entry with:
   • Full Name
   • NRIC/Passport Number
   • Mobile Number
   • Email Address
   • Residential Address
   • Receipt Upload
   • Contest Answer (item count)
   • Completed sentence “I love La gourmet because……”
5. Complete the following in not more than 20 words:

“I love La gourmet because…….”

PROOF OF PURCHASE

1. Each entry must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase from participating outlets.
2. Only original receipts issued by participating outlets during the Contest Period will be accepted.
3. Photos of products without a valid receipt will not be accepted.
4. Receipts used for one submission may not be reused for additional entries unless accompanied by a separate qualifying purchase.
5. The Organiser reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any receipt submitted.

ENTRY DISQUALIFICATION

The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry that:

• Contains incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information.
• Fails to provide valid proof of purchase.
• Is submitted outside the Contest Period.
• Contains offensive, defamatory, inappropriate, or unlawful content.
• Violates any of these Terms & Conditions.
• Is suspected of fraud, tampering, or manipulation of the Contest process.

WINNER SELECTION

1. Participants are required to correctly estimate or provide the nearest answer to the total number of La gourmet INOX & Pureglas containers displayed in the Contest Display.
2. The participant(s) with the correct answer shall be shortlisted.
3. If no participant provides the exact answer, the participant(s) with the nearest answer will be shortlisted.
4. In the event of multiple participants submitting the same correct or nearest answer, the winner will be determined based on the creativity, originality, and relevance of their submitted slogan answering:

“I love La gourmet because…….”

1. The Organiser’s decision regarding the selection of winners shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

PRIZES

Grand Prize

1 x Toshiba Refrigerator
(Model and specifications to be determined by the Organiser and sponsoring partner)

Additional Prizes

The Organiser may introduce additional prizes, consolation prizes, or special awards at its sole discretion.

All prizes:

• Are non-transferable.
• Cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Cannot be substituted by winners.
• Must be accepted as awarded.

WINNER NOTIFICATION

1. Winners will be contacted via telephone, email, SMS, WhatsApp, or any contact information provided in the Contest Entry Form.
2. Winners must respond within seven (7) working days from the date of notification.
3. Failure to respond within the stipulated period may result in forfeiture of the prize, and the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
4. The Grand Prize winner may be required to attend a prize presentation ceremony, media event, or publicity activity organised by the Organiser.

NATIONWIDE PARTICIPATION

This Contest is open nationwide at participating outlets throughout Malaysia.

Participation in this Contest is entirely voluntary and at the participant’s own risk.

PUBLICITY

By participating in the Contest, participants agree that the Organiser may use their:

• Name
• Photograph
• Video recording
• Contest entry
• Slogan
• Testimonial

for advertising, promotional, publicity, marketing, and communication purposes in any media format worldwide without further compensation or prior notice.

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK & TESTIMONIALS

Participants agree that any feedback, testimonials, reviews, comments, photographs, or content submitted to the Organiser may be used for marketing, promotional, advertising, and social media purposes without compensation.

LIABILITY

The Organiser shall not be liable for:

• Any loss, damage, injury, or claim suffered by participants arising from participation in the Contest.
• Any technical failures, interruptions, or errors affecting the submission process.
• Any damage, loss, delay, or defect relating to the delivery or collection of prizes.

Participants participate at their own risk.

INDEMNITY

Each participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organiser, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, subsidiaries, affiliates, and partners from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of any prize.

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

By participating in this Contest, participants consent to the collection, processing, storage, and use of their personal data by the Organiser for purposes relating to the administration of the Contest, prize fulfilment, marketing communications, and customer engagement activities in accordance with applicable Malaysian laws.

MODIFICATION OR CANCELLATION

The Organiser reserves the right to amend, vary, modify, suspend, postpone, or cancel the Contest and/or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding.
